Find a dance partner in all the counties and shires of the UK. Whether you are looking for a dance partner to learn to dance and attend dance classes together, or join tea dances or other social dances, to dance competitively or professionally, everyone needs a dance partner.
If you are already dancing, you will no doubt be aware that there has been an imbalance between men and women dancing. However, the situation is rapidly changing with the advent of the TV programmes like Strictly Come Dancing, which has encouraged men and women to take up dancing. As a result of this sea change you can look forward to the dancepartners website having more and more men and women creating their profiles, increasing the chances of you finding a dance partner.

Be brave - nothing ventured, nothing gained.
On our website you can locate people in all the counties in the UK (UK website)and on our sister website all the states in the USA (USA website), and set search criteria for the type of dance you are interested in dancing. So, whether you want to do the standard ballrooom dances such as waltz, quickstep, foxtrot and tango, or the standard latin dances such as rumba, cha cha, samba and jive or club dances such as salsa and ceroc, there will be someone for you, beginners and experienced dancers alike. If your dance requires a partner, you can find him/her here using the search criteria.

What Happens Next, and some guidance on that trickiest question of all
How To Judge Someone’s Integrity. Further
information regarding our Objectives,
can be found within the website's Admin Page. You can click on any one of the above links to find out more.
You can browse the site for a dance partner at any time free of charge.
You can also Create Your Own Profile free of charge. You can look
at the Noticeboard
free of charge to find out about events going on in your area, too.
It is only once you wish to make a contact that you have to subscribe or pay a one-off fee for making that contact (see
Fees page for all options). Once a fully paid-up member, you will be able to enjoy the full range of events and activities available through Dance Partner Ltd, such as dance parties, newsletters, special offers etc. This will be accessed through the Members VIP Lounge. This area is still under development, but you will be kept informed of its progress. In addition, each time your browse our website, relevant advertisers such as
dance schools, dance clubs and shops will promote their own websites, classes, workshops, dancewear, dance shoes, shops etc, so that you can find information about all your dancing needs from our website. Advertisements will only appear if they are relevant to your area, so that you will not be bombarded with lots of adverts for the north of Scotland if you live in Devon, for instance. We anticipate this being a very valuable tool for our members when, having found their dance partner, they are seeking somewhere to dance, or need a pair of shoes.
It's time to get started.
As more people join our Club and create their profiles, the more opportunities for contacts will arise.

Full instructions and guidelines for creating your own profile are given on its individual page, along with tips and other do’s and don’ts. Before you do so, we suggest you read the next paragraph, and providing you agree with the sentiments expressed therein, we will then invite you to build your own profile.
A question that is very likely to be niggling away at the back of your mind is:
How can I judge someone’s integrity?
We are not an agency, and do not see our members face to face – well, not yet anyway, until we have had our first dance, and therefore we rely on the general public to make their profiles available for you to read. We ask our members to be honest, but always be cautious when reading someone’s profile. Once you make an e-contact, ask lots of questions before agreeing to meet them, and always meet them in a public place. We cannot be held responsible for the development of your relationship.
However, we have developed a technical safeguard, which may offer you some protection and reassurance. We only want members who are respectful for others. If a person does not respond to your request for contact, after 28 days we invite you to create a negative response on their profile which is visible to all. This is displayed as a number of negative responses. The person can challenge this action, and if their non-response was a genuine error and/or unavoidable we will remove the negative mark. You are given plenty of options to respond free of charge to a request for contact, so that you can indicate your (genuine) reason for refusal. In addition, we welcome emails from members if you have any concern at all about the integrity of an individual at any time. We will contact the member ourselves and discuss your complaint without any reference to you.
